Glendale Police Seize 2 More Firearms in Routine Traffic Stops

The Glendale Police Department conducted two separate traffic stops recently that led to the seizure of firearms. On the evening of June 6, 2024, officers from the stopped a vehicle for traffic violations at the intersection of Adams and Palmer. The vehicle’s occupants were removed from the vehicle and a search revealed a 9mm ghost gun, narcotics, and an illegally possessed access card. Both were arrested on multiple charges including gun and narcotics offenses.

On June 8, patrol officers conducting checks in an area known for recent gang-related activities stopped a vehicle around Western and Lake. A search uncovered a loaded firearm under the driver’s seat and gang-related materials. A 20-year-old man from Burbank and two juveniles were arrested for possession of a concealed firearm and other gang-related charges.
