The iconic rock powerhouse band Linkin Park made a stunning return on Thursday, sending waves through social media as they unveiled Emily Armstrong as their new vocalist. The band’s official website was updated with a number of new announcements, including a world tour and a new upcoming album.

Alongside the major announcement, Linkin Park released a fresh new single titled “The Emptiness Machine,” marking the first release featuring Emily Armstrong as a singer alongside Mike Shinoda. This comes seven years after the tragic passing of former lead vocalist Chester Bennington in 2017.

Linkin Park’s new album, “From Zero” is set to be released on November 15, according to a social media post by the band.

Sep 22, 2024: Barclays Arena, Hamburg, Germany

Though fans overwhelmingly agreed that the band would never truly be the same without Chester Bennington, the reception of Emily Armstrong was fiercely positive, with one fan calling her “the perfect fit for the new direction Linkin Park are headed.”

General public tickets for the upcoming concert at Kia Forum in Los Angeles and Barclays Center in New York go on sale Saturday. More info on Linkin Park’s new album, the world tour, and the official music video for “The Emptiness Machine” can be found on the band’s official website.
