LA Fire Department responds to downed power line fire near Fletcher Square

LOS ANGELES, CA – The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at the 3200 block of N San Fernando Rd early evening on Friday.

The fire, which was reportedly caused by a downed power line, emitted smoke that was visible from up to 2 miles away, with the first sightings reported around 6:50 pm. The fire had been fully extinguished by 7:20 pm.

Los Angeles Department of Water and Power crews arrived on scene shortly after the fire had been extinguished. There have not been any reported injuries.
